href=\"https:\/\/www.yohz.com\/sda_details.htm\">SQL Data Analysis<\/a>, an analysis table is created.\u00a0 Here, we will described how to work with the analysis table columns.\u00a0 We will be using href=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/blogs\/2020\/05\/06\/using-analysis-tables\/\">post<\/a> on how to create group and footer summaries.<\/p>\n<h2>Hiding columns<\/h2>\n<p>To hide or display columns, open the <strong>Columns<\/strong> tab of the <strong>Customize<\/strong> panel.\u00a0 Select a column to make it visible, or deselect it to hide the column.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"(max-width: 347px) 100vw, 347px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Freezing columns<\/h2>\n<p>In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/yohzapps\/eea_overview.htm\">Easy Excel Analysis<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yohz.com\/sda_details.htm\">SQL Data Analysis<\/a>, you can freeze columns on the left and right of the analysis table e.g. in the table below, the <strong>Order Date<\/strong> column is frozen on the left, and the <strong>Country<\/strong> column is frozen on the right.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-690\" sizes=\"(max-width: 851px) 100vw, 851px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you scroll the table horizontally, these 2 columns will remain fixed in their position.<\/p>\n<p>To freeze columns, first ensure that the <strong>LEFT BAND<\/strong> and\/or <strong>RIGHT BAND<\/strong> items are selected in the <strong>Customize<\/strong> panel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full sizes=\"(max-width: 347px) 100vw, 347px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then drag and drop columns onto either of those 2 items to freeze the columns in those bands.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" sizes=\"(max-width: 857px) 100vw, 857px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Notice that the <strong>Category<\/strong>, <strong>Sub-Category<\/strong>, <strong>Segment<\/strong>, <strong>Product ID<\/strong>, and <strong>Product Name<\/strong> columns are displayed on the second row.<\/p>\n<p>To stack columns, click on a column header and drag it to below the row where you want to create a new row.\u00a0 You will create a new row if you see the green horizontal indicator arrows.\u00a0 In the example below, we are dragging the <strong>Category<\/strong> column to create a new row.<\/p>\n<p><img
