are the basic steps to follow:<\/p>\n<h2>Importing your Excel file<\/h2>\n<p>Click on the <strong>Import Excel\/CSV file<\/strong> item, and select the Excel file you want to import.<\/p>\n<p><img has blank rows before the data rows.\u00a0 Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the next page, adjust the column types where necessary.\u00a0 Check that the date and time columns are identified correctly.\u00a0 If the columns have been formatted as date and\/or time columns in Excel, they will be identified correctly in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/ya_eea_overview.htm\">Easy Excel add columns for the year, month, and quarter based on the <strong>Order Date<\/strong> column.\u00a0 Click <strong>Next <\/strong>after you have added the elements you require.<\/p>\n<p><img href=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/blogs\/2020\/05\/06\/using-analysis-tables\/\">analysis table<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Importing your CSV file<\/h2>\n<p>The steps to Import a CSV file is similar to importing an Excel file.\u00a0 When you select a CSV file, the <strong>Import CSV File<\/strong> wizard displays a preview of the file.\u00a0 You may need to adjust the settings to import your file correctly.\u00a0 To determine if the settings are correct, click on the <strong>Preview<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-756\" the first column description.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-757\" the <strong>Detect byte-order mark<\/strong> option.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/ya_eea_overview.htm\">Easy Excel Analysis<\/a> will try to set this option automatically depending on the CSV file format.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-758\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yohz.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/eea_steps10.png\" <strong>Field separator<\/strong> symbol (default is the comma symbol), and the <strong>quote symbol<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full
