Opening a package

When you first start the SQL Data Sets Viewer, you will be prompted to load a SQL Data Sets package. Select a package file that you have, and click on the Open button.

Once the package has been successfully opened, you can view the data sets contained in the package. If the package creator had included any comments on the package, they will be displayed in the SQL editor.

If the package creator had chosen to store the original SQL queries for the saved data sets, they will be displayed in the SQL
tab.

The right panel is subdivided into 3 panels. The top panel displays a summary of your queries, i.e. the number of data sets returned and the number of rows for each data set.

The middle panel is where notes are displayed and entered. See this topic for further details.

The bottom panel displays any images that may be contained in the data set. See this topic for further details.
