About SQL Image Viewer

SQL Image Viewer allows you to view images stored in a variety of database engines, and export those images to disk. The current version supports the following database servers via native drivers:

· Firebird (2.x, 1.x)  
· Microsoft Access 2000 to 2013  
· Microsoft SQL Server (2014, 2012, 2008 R2, 2008, 2005, 2000)  
· Microsoft SQL Azure  
· MySQL (6.0, 5.6, 5.5, 5.1, 5.0, 4.1, 4.0)  
· Oracle (12c, 11g, 10g, 9i, 8i, 8.0)  
· PostgreSQL (7.1 up to 9.4)  
· SQLite 3.x  

In addition, SQL Image Viewer can connect to any database server that has an ODBC driver. Database servers that have been tested to be working in SQL Image Viewer using their respective ODBC drivers are:

· IBM DB2 (8.0 and higher)  

SQL Image Viewer supports the display of images stored in the following graphic formats:

· BMP  
· DICOM  
· GIF (Graphic Interchange Format, static and animated)  
· JPEG  
· PNG (Portable Network Graphics)  
· PSD (Photoshop)  
· TIFF (Tagged Image File Format, single and multi page)  

The export function allows you to alter the images using one or more image processing functions.

In addition, SQL Image Viewer also recognises the following file formats:

· Adobe Acrobat file (pdf)  
· 7-zip archive (zip)  
· Bzip2 archive (bz2)  
· Gzip archive (gz)  
· Rar archive (rar)  
· Zip archive (zip)  
· MP3 audio (mp3)  
· WAV audio (wav)  
· HTML content (htm)  
· RTF content (rtf)  
· XML content (xml)  
· Excel 2007 (xlsx, xlsm, xlsb) - unprotected files only  
· Word 2007 (docx, docm, dotx, dotm) - unprotected files only  
· Powerpoint 2007 (pptx, pptm, potx, potm) - unprotected files only  
· Excel file (xls)  
· Powerpoint file (ppt)  
· Word file (doc)  
· Outlook message (msg) files  
· OpenOffice Writer (odt), Calc (ods), and Impress (odp)  
· ePub  

For non-image binary data, you can view the contents using the integrated hex viewer, and also to export to disk using the export function.
