Hex view

These options apply to the display of binary data in the hex viewer.

options-hexview  

Default layout
The default layout for the hex viewer display.

Hex
Displays the binary data as 8-bit hex values and 8-bit characters

Hex (unicode)
Displays the binary data as 16-bit hex values and 16-bit unicode characters.

Text
Displays the binary data as 8-bit characters.

Text (unicode)
Displays the binary data as 16-bit unicode characters.

Binary
Displays the binary data as is, ignoring line breaks.

Maximise view
Determines if the hex viewer should occupy all available screen space to display the binary data.
