Connecting to MySQL databases

Click on the MySQL option to open the MySQL connection options.

connect-mysql
Server host
 		Enter the server name, or IP address of the server.
Port
 		Enter the port number of the MySQL server.
User name
 		Enter the name of the database user to connect as.
Password
 		Enter the password of the database user.
Default schema
 		Enter the name of the schema to connect to initially.


In order to connect to a MySQL server, the libmySQL.dll client library must be installed. The path to this file must be included as part of the system's PATH settings. You can also copy this file to the SQL Image Viewer installation folder in order to enable SQL Image Viewer to connect to MySQL servers.
