Connecting using ODBC

When using ODBC drivers, ensure that you only retrieve rows on demand where possible. Specific examples are provided for DB2 and PostgreSQL servers.



Click on the ODBC option to open the ODBC connection options.

Data source
Enter the name of the user or system DSN to use.
Advanced
Enter additional connection parameters to use.
User name
Enter a user name if you want to connect using a different user from that defined in the DSN.
Password
Enter the password if one is required.


You can select existing DSNs by clicking on the 'Browse DSN' button.
